Forensic Medicine
Forensic Medicine Consist of Legal medicine and medical jurisprudence which are closely related and it deals with the application of medical Knowledge to aid in the administration of Justice also the medical aspects of laws and legal responsibilities of the physician. It’s day by day expanding discipline and medical education cannot do away with this specialty. So from the beginning itself the medical students are given theoretical and Practical Knowledge and experience to equip them to deal with the day to day needs in the practice of medicine.
Details of Curriculum for UG Program:
In Accordance with the competency based medical education program of National Medical Council. Curriculum includes medical laws; ethics, theoretical or Practical knowledge about establishing identity, injuries, Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Psychiatry and Various different allied topics
Facilities:
The department is equipped with Lab, Demo rooms, Museum, Skill lab and other facilities for gaining practical Knowledge in the discipline for the students.
